Homecare Adaptation & Construction Ltd. was established in 2017 by John Michael O’Donoghue. John Michael has a BEng (Hons) Degree in Building Services Engineering. He has worked in the construction industry for over 16 years, working primarily with elderly, disabled and vulnerable people living in both urban and rural locations across Ireland.
John Michael established Homecare Adaptation & Construction Ltd. with the vision to help people “adapt their homes to their needs”, enabling people and their families achieve a better quality of life within the comfort of their own home through professional home adaptations and mobility solutions.
Homecare Adaptation & Construction Ltd. offer expert advice on the most cost-effective and best fit solutions to adapt your home to your changing needs. We specialise in carrying out house repairs, disability home adaptations, accessible bathroom renovations and mobility adaptations for older people and people with disabilities, both privately and through County Council grant funding schemes in Ireland.
We offer a free home survey and assistance with all form filling and design drawings for County Council home adaptation grant applications in Ireland.
We liaise with the homeowner, their family, Public Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker when requested to help improve accessibility and living standards for elderly and disabled individuals with changing mobility and care needs.
Each home adaptation and renovation project is completed by a team of skilled tradesmen overseen by a dedicated project manager, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standard with minimal inconvenience to clients.
